After living in Madrid for the better part of my 20s, it was inevitable that I would become OBSESSED with Zara (www.zara.com) - I can think of at least 5 store fronts, off the top of my head, that were within 5-10 minutes walking from my front door (with many multiple of that if we include Zara subsidiaries which are equally delightful). Aside from a good home-made batch of croquetas de jamón, Zara was the one thing I missed most when I traded Spain for graduate school in Iowa.
Luckily for me, by the time my son was born, Zara had already launched it's online store in the US, making dressing my young dude effortless. And now with a girly babe, I get to buy all the things...and man, I love dressing these two (except when it's a pajama kind of day...).
